Being a small town, there are not many things Varese is known for (other being our hometown, obviously... ), but from 1900 until 1960 some of the finest decorative paper has been printed in our town using traditional, centuries-old techniques.
Decorative paper was originally used for bookbindings, protecting furniture and wrapping gifts or food.
Those were days when you could not download books, when furniture was not sold in cardboard boxes for you to assemble at home, when gifts were still considered something special and the right paper was part of the ceremony.
Those were days when quality mattered.
With our collection of sunglasses, we are trying to bring back some of this attention to details and quality, offering products that are in line with the latest fashion trends and handmade in Italy using traditional techniques.
Moreover, thanks to the tools that an interconnected society gives us, we are able to offer our sunglasses to you at an unbelievable price by cutting all unnecessary intermediaries.
Because for us, quality still matters and we think it's something everybody should afford.
Here's a (not-so-brief) guide to make your sunglasses a lifetime companion.
