The mermaids sun themselves out on the rocks
They are beyond our touch
I watch and watch
Wave at me
They wave at me
They wave and slip
Back into the sea
We love summer, we love to wear sunglasses, to go outside and enjoy a warm and sunny day.
But there are few poetical things such as the seaside during winter time.
The cold air, the pale colours and the soft shadows, the empty beaches, and the sea’s roar. No one is around but you and your special one, maybe you can encounter very few lucky ones that decided to step outside in the cold to enjoy the winter seaside.
You can walk for hours in your winter jacket and your scarf, thinking about everything and about nothing.
You can look at the waves and listen to some good music.
You can just sit and watch the mermaids wave at you.
