At The Quiet Before we love traveling.
Travels and music are our main source of inspiration, for this reason we’re launching a new section of our blog to share with you all the things we see in our beautiful World, hoping you will feel as moved and touched.
The first blog post of “The Quiet Before Traveling” series it’s about the “Monument to the uprising of the people of Kordun and Banija”, a futuristic building located on the top of Petrova Gora (Peter’s Mountain in Croatian), a mountain range in central Croatia.
There’s a lot to be told about this monument from historical and political point of views, but it’s not what this post is about.
This post is about the beauty of this architectural marvel designed by Croatian sculptor Vojin Bakić and it’s about the sadness of such beauty being abandoned, forgotten and torn apart by local smugglers…
Here's a (not-so-brief) guide to make your sunglasses a lifetime companion.
